Bitdorado Turkey launched Month of K.

Just like with Month of B told in a previous news item about Bitdorado Turkey, Pascal now announced at Klimatas Discord channel that there is now Month of K going on in Bitdorado Turkey until the end of the month, meaning that depositing any coin to Bitdorado Turkey which name starts with K, will give you 3 percent extra in Teloscoins.

As far as I checked, only coin starting with K in Bitdorado Turkey currently is Klimatas (KTS) coin.

And it is a similar system like last time, to give an example:

1. You Deposit 100 000 KTS to Bitdorado Turkey.

2. Coingecko shows that the price of 100 000 KTS is 700 Euros.

3. 3% from 700 Euros is 21 Euros.

4. Coingecko shows that with 21 Euros you can buy 1 000 Teloscoins.

5. You make a deposit of 1 000 Teloscoins to Bitdorado Turkey, and mark the Transaction ID as “Month of K”

On top of this, Pascal also talked that there will likely be Coin & Growth Pool opened for Klimatas (KTS) coin a couple of days later.

More details revealed of Paracoin

Notice that I have categorized this article as a rumour, this is due to Pascal often changing his mind very fast, and I guess Paracoin details are not really set to stone. So basically this is official how it is going to be but prepare for a change of mind still.

During his holiday that he originally announced of having started from about 14th of December until the end of the year, on last day of last year he gave an announcement regarding Para coin.

In announcement he said that paracoin will come in two weeks time, that be roughly no later than the 14th of January. Notice that this is probably different from “two weeks later” which can mean any time between now and the second coming of Christ.

Master node collaterals for paracoin would be 100, 300, 1000, 3000, 10 000, making it very much affordable for most people supposing coins price be around the same as Teloscoin currently is.

He is also hinting in his announcement that Bluebox Telos master nodes might be replaced with Paracoin master nodes since Telos master nodes are about to be history after Telos changes to full POS coin, which in my guess will happen soon after the Paracoin fork is done first. This order of first Paracoin fork, then Teloscoin full POS fork, would be due to practical reasons I guess.

Each Paracoin Block would yield 1000 new coins until the first halving happens around July 22, and there will be a superblock of 300 000 para coins once every 30 days for the lucky one who gets it. Will halving also affect the size of the superblock is not told.

It is not said how often new blocks come, but I suppose it would be the same as Teloscoin – once per minute, in which case the amount of Paracoins would practically more than double by the time of halving, and halving taken into consideration, amount of Paracoins would about triple by the end of the first year.

If this halving continues the same way the next year, then at the end of the second year there will only be roughly 35 percent more coins compared to the end of the first year. So the first year is the time of high inflation and time to grab them coins as much as you can, while the second year will be much more stable already compared to the first one.

As a final reminder, I repeat the same as in the previous news item about Paracoin: You can already buy Paracoins by buying Teloscoins since Paracoin is going to be a fork of a Teloscoin. This means that as many Teloscoins you have at that moment, you will also have Paracoins the same amount.

As an example, if you have 100K Teloscoins at the moment of the fork, then after the fork you will have 100k Teloscoins, and 100K Paracoins.

And to clarify just in case; Teloscoin is not going anywhere, both Teloscoin and Paracoin will exist at the same time, hence having Teloscoins at the time of the fork will only be good for you since you will have both Teloscoins and Paracoins.

In addition, after the previous article, Pascal has confirmed that Bitdorado Turkey will support Paracoin fork. Rest of the place’s situation is the same as told in the previous article.

So go and buy those Teloscoins now already to get some Paracoins in addition to your Teloscoins and lift the Teloscoins price up!

Bitdorado Turkey B-Month for a day.

Just yesterday Pascal announced Bitdorado Turkey is having a B-month.

It shows how fast Pascal works that he is actually crushing a whole B-month into under two days since he announced that until the end of this month, which ends after today, every transfer of BitcoinSubsidium (XBTX), Birake, Bitcoin, BCH, BNB, or BAM will earn an extra 3 percent on top of them.

Or at least that is how I understood his message which could be used as a light escape room game puzzle.

How to get it, is as cryptic as the rest of the announcement, but here is my guess, which might, or might not, work.

First, you transfer for example 100 000 Birake to either your Birake Pool or Birake Coin & Growth Pool.

Then you calculate that 3 percent from 100 000 is 3 000.

Now you go to coingecko and check what is the price of 3 000 Birake compared to TELOS, which you could do for example by first checking the price of 3 000 Birake in BTC, and then checking how many TELOS you can get with that BTC amount.

Now you make another transfer, but this time to Telos Pool (or maybe Telos Coin & Growth pool is an option too), and this time you mark the transfer sum as the amount of TELOS you got from the previous calculation, and Transfer ID as “month of B”.

As far as I can understand the announcement, that is how I would interpret it. But use at your own risk, no guarantee is made if my interpretation is right, or if following my interpretation might get you kicked out from Bitdorado Turkey completely.

Happy rest of the year!

edit:

thanks to some readers for pointing out that I missed it was specifically talking of a bonus to TELOS pool, I corrected the original text to reflect this.

another edit: added Bitcoins Subsidium (XBTX) to the list, it starts with B also.

Para coin is coming

Pascal has announced that Para (PAPARA) coin is about to come to the Transcendence ecosystem. When exactly, well, he said that due to taxation reasons, after year changes, which doesn’t necessarily mean exactly First of January but I would guess during the first days of the next year at least.

I haven’t quite got yet what this coin is about, I can only say that Pascal has mentioned that this coin is meant to be open for everyone, so maybe it is going to be taking part of the place that Teloscoin have originally meant to have as everyone’s coin.

While Para coin is not coming until next year, you can however sort of buy them already, for Pascal has announced that Para coin will be done by forking Teloscoin, which means that at the moment the fork is done, you will have the exact same amount of Paracoins, as you have Teloscoins.

For those who don’t know how this works, as a simple example, if you have 10 Teloscoins at the point the fork is done, you will at that point have 10 Teloscoins AND 10 Paracoins, both continue to exist and nothing is going to happen to Teloscoin but it continues to live like usual, you are just getting some more coins in addition to your Teloscoins as you will also get some Paracoins.

To put it slightly more technically, the idea with Forking is that you could say there is going to be made an exact copy of the Blockchain, and then these both blockchains, the original and the copy, keep living on independent from each other, only sharing the same blockchain up to the point when the fork was done. This is also why Teloscoin owners will get those Para coins to themselves since in practice the Teloscoins in the blockchain copy will be renamed as Para coins.

Now how do you then get these para coins to use in practice?

I have to say, this is something I am not exactly sure about. I suppose that if you have your Teloscoins in your regular wallet, like QT-wallet or Dashboard, then you simply need to have a copy of your “wallet.dat”-file (remember that Teloscoin has named that file different) and use it with the Para coin wallet when it comes. That is my guess at least.

But it is more tricky if you have your coins somewhere else than on one of the regular wallets, for then it depends if that place, for example, an exchange, supports this.

I remember when Bitcoin Cash fork was done from BTC, I had some BTC in Bitstamp Exchange, and they didn’t support BCH at that point, so there was no way for me to get my BCH. However, maybe a year later they decided to support BCH after all, and suddenly there appeared some BCH to my Bitstamp account, the exact amount of BCH that I had BTC in my Bitstamp account at the time the fork was done.

Pascal said today that Bitdorado App will support the Para coin, which based upon the whole context seems to mean that as long as you have Teloscoins in Bitdorado Turkey, you will also get the Para coins that belong to you.

He also mentioned that it is likely that Birake, Graviex, and SouthXchange exchanges would list Para coin in the future, but listing a coin is different from supporting getting those Para coins from your existing Telos coins at those exchanges at the time of the fork.
So there is no guarantee you will get any Para coins from your Telos coins that exist in any of those exchanges, and actually, Pascal even mentioned that he thinks that when it comes to Birake, that due to the DEX nature of that exchange, it might be technically very difficult to make it so that you would get your Para coins from the fork.

Hence if you really don’t want to keep your coins in your wallet, and Bitdorado Turkey is not an option for you, I would guess that Graviex and SouthXchange would be your best bets on getting your Para coins from your Telos coins that you have at the time of the fork.

However, do keep in mind that everything said here can still change, for it is not unusual for Pascal to change his mind on a whim and none of these things are set in stone yet in any way, which is also why I marked one of the categories of this article to be a “rumour”.

There is already a Discord channel opened to Para coin, which you can join by clicking this link:

Bitdorado Turkey – Requirements to stay lifted up.

Bad news for those who haven’t joined Bitdorado Turkey yet, and even to those who have joined.

First is that practically Bitdorado Turkey is not accepting new members anymore since there have only vaguely been mentioned that if you wish to join Bitdorado Turkey, you need 1 Million Euros, and the reason for this have been said to be in keeping the member numbers down since seems over 100 members would make lots more work due to laws and regulations.

In another unfortunate step, demands to even stay as an existing member have been lifted up. Now you need 1 Million Telos and 10 000 Birake coins in your Bitdorado account to be allowed to stay. The scary part in this is that first it was announced, if I correctly remember, that you needed 300 000 Telos, then later point it was raised to 1 Million, and then, even later, 10 000 Birake coins demand, and I can see somewhat of a scary pattern there which says that there might be coming more demands in the future since it seems like they just want everyone else but themselves out.

So if you are still one of the few who are able to stay in Bitdorado Turkey, better start preparing for the day you won’t be able to meet the demands and are kicked out.

Transcendence takes over Klimatas (KTS) coin

You might have noticed that one of the Pools in Bitdorado Turkey is Klimatas (KTS) coin.

Well, about two weeks ago this Coin has been taken over by Transcendence, or, to be more precise, by Pascal and BitCoin_Bond_007, meaning in practice it will be part of Transcendence now, although technically perhaps not exactly.

Original Klimatas coin, as the name already suggested, had to do with environmental values, mainly focusing on sustainable development, and concretely they for example had this idea about a Cryptoforest, which meant that through blockchain technology, you were able to plant real trees.

Drawing connections between dots, their whitepaper mentioning it took a year for them to get EU regulations done and their final message to their community after the change in leadership, it gives me a picture that Pascal’s way of preparing for all the future EU regulations first as a foundation have been the right choice since seems like trying to figure out how to get those regulations in place in practice was what pretty much killed Klimatas old leadership. that instead of being able to focus on getting more trees to the world, they had to focus on how to get those regulations in place for those things you make from trees that tend to make people happy when they get and use them.

New Klimatas will likely change its focus a bit. It will still be a do-good coin, but instead of focusing on planting new trees and stuff, Klimatas will likely take its focus more towards kids and young people, this according to a discussion I had with BitCoin_Bond_007.

The integration to the Transcendence world has basically already started even before the takeover since as mentioned at beginning of this news item, you have been able to join Klimatas Pool through Bitdorado Turkey for some time already.

In addition, after Telos upcoming change to full POS, blueboxes won’t be able to run Telos master nodes anymore, since there won’t be any master nodes in Telos anymore, instead, blueboxes are planned to start running Klimatas master nodes. Hence, if you own one of the blueboxes, you are already without doing anything getting yourself involved with Klimatas coin.

And Klimatas (KTS) coin will also be accepted as a payment option when buying a bluebox.

According to BitCoin_Bond_007, There are plans to integrate KTS in the future for even more to the Transcendence ecosystem, but right now this is where it starts from.

Ares Computer not currently selling to Europe, except to Germany.

In a funny twist with German laws and bureaucracy, we are now facing a situation where Ares is not selling to Europe anymore, except for Germany.

So if you reside either in Germany or somewhere else in the world but in Europe, you can still continue buying from Ares Computer normally. But for rest of the Europe, it is a no-go for now.

Based upon Pascal’s comments, this situation is likely going to change sometime at the beginning side of the next year.

Warning – A fake Telos Telegram group

Imitation is the highest form of flattery they say, and now there exists a fake Telos Telegram group by the name of “Teloscoin Official Chat”:

And by looks of it, it looks like they are scamming people’s coins for themselves.

It is good to remember that the real Telos Telegram group doesn’t sound so official actually, but is actually just called Teloscoin aka Transcendence Blockchain.

Votings ended – New Telos Fundamentals set

A week ago votings about some of the Telos fundamentals ended and we now have a full list of Telos version 4 fundamentals that based upon a Twitter comment should come in effect at some point in December.

As far as I can see, voting results stayed, at least seemingly, exactly the same as they were when I wrote the news item about the votings.

This means that while the option of having only 300K collaterals on Master Nodes was a clear winner, that didn’t really matter since another voting result about POS/MN split was that Telos will move to full POS which means that there won’t be any Master Nodes any more, and hence no collateral for them either.

Vote passed: Lottery Block to be added to Teloscoin

Catching up on the old news a bit.

Already a month ago a vote about adding a Lottery Block to Teloscoin passed with a tight 2 vote difference, that was: 2 votes against 0.

Since this change requires making a fork, and making a fork is no small task, there are now a couple of other votes going on right now to do some more changes at the same time as adding the Lottery Block.

Sunday Funday deals are over

On sad news, Pascal announced on discord a couple of days ago that Sunday Funday deals are over.

No more 20 percent extra for buying Telos through OTC offer on Sundays.

Well, he originally said he would keep it only until the price hits 2 cents, which it did hit long ago already, and he only stopped it until it hit 2 cents again some days ago. So fun did last much longer than expected.

Two new Telos fundamentals votings on dashboard

As “Lottery Block”-voting passed (haven’t told that to you yet), while doing the change to reflect the addition of a monthly Lottery Block, why not vote about other Telos Fundamentals too to see if some more changes should be done at the same time, especially when considering that the latest halving came by surprise and hence no voting about fundamentals were done.

Dashboard therefore now has two votings:

One about POS/MN split, and another about The Master Node collaterals.

Masternode Collateral options are following:

  1. 1K / 10K / 30K / 1M / 3M
  2. 1K and 100K
  3. only 1K
  4. only 100K
  5. only 300K

Right now the option 5 is winning with 767 votes, and the only other option that seems to be having votes is option number 4. However, due to how the dashboard displays those votes, it is difficult to say how many votes number 4 has, maybe 50, so well behind option number 5.

This Masternode Collateral voting however might not have any relevance in the end, since the other voting is about the split between POS and MN.

POS/MN split options are following:

  1. 50/50
  2. 30 POS / 70 MN
  3. 10 POS / 90 MN
  4. 90 POS / 10 MN
  5. 100 POS

Option number 5 means there will not be any Masternodes anymore, but only Proof of Stake, which by other words mean wallet staking, and right now it looks like Option number 5 is winning by slide, for option number 5 currently has a whopping 120 105 votes for it and due to how dashboard displays votes, I can’t really see if any of the other options have any votes or just some compared to this option.

What do these changes mean in practice?

well, Masternode collaterals give a different kinds of options. Like currently as we have had 100k – 10M nodes, it means that entry to master nodes is a bit expensive compared to 1K nodes, and such high options like 10M seem to have also contributed to having perhaps even too few nodes since the network has had problems every now and then.

Few nodes however is not automatically a problem.

having only for example 100K nodes, would increase the number of nodes, and keep things simple, since each node is always just that 100K, and also theoretically increase network stability, however, in practice it also tends to mean that people who want to run 10M worth of nodes (that’s hundred 100K nodes) might look at cheapest possible options, which in practice results in bad nodes, and bad nodes result into a bad network.

When it comes to POS / MN split, this naturally affects the appeal of running nodes. Less for MN, less appealing it is to run one, which naturally affects the number of nodes.

However, especially since now the 100 POS option is most voted, which I personally hope will win, I will point some pros and cons about that.

One bad thing is that currently Blueboxes are at least theoretically running a Telos master node. With 100 POS, they might not be doing so anymore. So those rewards might be gone for the bluebox owners, although there isn’t really any reason why blueboxes couldn’t change into running 24/7 wallets instead to support the network, except as far as I have understood, blueboxes are not running master nodes currently, but owners have anyway been paid the amount of Telos they would have received if 100K masternodes had been run on them.

Another bad thing is that Telos will lose some visibility, for example places like masternodestats.info list master nodes and their profits, but if Telos moves to fully POS, will masternodestats.info update its system to also show full POS Telos, or simply remove it from the list?
While masternodestats.info, I hope, will update POS Telos to its list, many other places might not.

To me, good things however outweigh those bad things like possibly losing my Bluebox Telos income.

For one thing is that POS is very simple. You just keep your wallet open and Telos inside it and you can get more. This is very beginner-friendly compared to running master nodes where just setting up one takes a lot of know-how, and on top of that if you don’t know what you are doing you might end up messing the whole Network, like happened with Telos 1 when we had over 10 000 Master Nodes in the network and many of them were run by noobs or people who didn’t care but just tried to squeeze every penny out of it with the cost of network stability.

This beginner friendliness might well attract some new people into Telosland since you buy some amount of coins and they start getting more very easy.

Another problem solved is that Teloscoins codebase is based upon PivX, and as far as I have understood, there seem to be lots of bugs in PivX code that haven’t really been fixed by most of the PivX based coins. And to my understanding many of these bugs have to do specifically with Master Nodes.

One exploit bug was actually tried to be fixed in Teloscoin once, but since not enough master node owners started running the new fork, the new fork couldn’t get off, and hence the fix never happened.

Which also gives one more reason to go to full POS. Who says we have enough master node owners who care to update to the next fix fork either?

Of course this doesn’t mean that wallet users will do any better, but at least it is easier to just update your wallet and start it, than setting up an updated master node. So my guess is getting new forks with changes in effect will be easier with full POS, and we already know that at least master node owners failed us once.

If you are not happy with how voting is going on currently, or if you wish to make sure it goes as it now looks like, now is the time to go to your Dashboard to vote on the options.

You have time to vote until 5 pm (UTC) on the 29th of October, which is roughly one week from now, and each vote costs 1 Telos, and you can cast as many votes as you like to the options you like.

edit 25.10.2021:

According to the username halalsolutions message on bitcointalk thread “old Transcendence ANN”, it seems my understanding of Blueboxes mostly not running Telos master nodes anymore was confirmed.

However, it would also seem that my understanding of the basis of today’s bluebox payments is wrong.

As said in the article, I thought the basis on payments was on “virtual” Telos master nodes, but appears, according to halalsolutions message, that the basis has been in some sort of storage renting system, probably something similar, if not the same, to what Project Alexandria is supposed to have in Blueboxes.

When in the article I said that full POS could remove bluebox income, halalsolutions seems to think it could rather triple the bluebox income since according to him, bluebox rental income is based upon the collateral represented by blueboxes, and full POS would mean more income since blueboxes represent most of the collateral. I don’t know if halalsolutions is right, but my guess is that halalsolutions is better aware of the system than I am.

Dashboard 1.10 Released

Dashboard has got a new version about a week ago, version 1.10.

Dashboard Manual have also been updated to reflect that.

Slightly confusingly, Dashboard can be found from under the Wallet 3.0.5 release. It is the “dashboardbundle_1.10” under the “assets”-files.

Dashboard manual is inside this “dashboardbundle_1.10”-package.

Biki Exchange closes

Biki Exchange is about to close down due to policy changes, in China I assume.

You can read more details from their announcement about it from about a week ago, but in short you should start withdrawing all your funds out from there before it is too late, but in practice you have until the end of November to do so.

Biki will start delisting trading pairs, planning on having all trading ceased at end of this month.

During November you can only withdraw, nothing else.

In case you fail to withdraw by end of November, you can get your cryptos back even after that, but Biki is going to be charging a 10 percent annual fee for safekeeping your cryptos, which makes the question of what if you just decide to forget about your coins, will you 11 years later need to pay them the amount of 10 percent annually?

Just to be on the safe side, better withdraw.

Telos QT Wallet 3.0.5 released

New Telos QT Wallet, release numbered 3.0.5 was released yesterday.

This is not a mandatory update, and actually, if you are using Dashboard, you shouldn’t even update to this yet.

This is just a small update that hopefully helps to fight against the recent Forking problem.

So basically, if you know what you are doing, great if you download this and help to stabilize the network again.

Dashboard Voting about adding a Lottery block

Dashboard has interesting voting going on that will end a week later on the 23rd of September.

The idea is about adding a lottery block each month.

This means that the regular reward would be the current 25 new coins per block, but once a month there would come a block that would yield 300 000 Coins to the one who gets it.

Since this is not actually a Lottery, but a blockchain feature, no Lottery laws apply to this, but only regular mining rules.

There are only two options, “Yes” and “No”, and currently only 2 votes have been cast, both for the “Yes”-option.

Whether you wish to show your support or disagreement to the suggestion, you may do so for the price of 50 Telos per vote.

CryptoMages Fun Set 1 – Bundestagswahl 2021 for auction

It appears Pascal has set up an auction at Opensea.io which by quick look seems to be some sort of auction place for NFT stuff.

Item in the auction is Cryptomages Fun Set 1 – Bundestagswahl, which based upon the little German language that I know, is based upon some sort of election in Germany, probably a nationwide one. You know, that stuff where they used to elect their new reich führer back in the day.

So if you like to get some CryptoMages trading cards with Merkel and other probably political figures, you could place a bid in the auction. The current highest bid, as at the time of writing this, is 0, which is probably close to the value most people think these figures contribute to the society.

Will this fun/unfun set 1 increase or decrease the value of your collection is hard to say, but you anyway have only until August 29, 2021 at 9:15pm EEST to place your bids if you want them, and you need Ethereum wallet to be able to place the bid, which prevented me from placing 1 dollar bid I mean to do.

Add yourself as a character to CryptoMages

Pascal told in Discord an interesting offer. If you pay 5000 XBTX, or 41535 TELOS, which I think he mentioned somewhere that in practice the idea is that the price is 120 USD, you can get a character to the CryptoMages game that is made from you.
Or actually, if you like, you can also design a character yourself since this offer is not limited to making a character of yourself, but you could even make your pet cat become a character, or just create some character from your imagination.

To make a character of yourself, You do need to send a photo of yourself and also give a name to the character, which can be your real name if you like, and also what fantasy class you want to be, examples given as without being restricted to: Minotaur, Magician, Orc, Fairy, Dwarf, Troll, Ogre, Witch, Druid, Knight, Werewolf, Reptiloid.

You can also add a Description and Story about your character, and you can also suggest some special moves. In addition to sending your picture, you can also describe if you wish your picture to be of some certain kind, for example maybe you wish to have a pitchfork in your hand and wish to be sitting on a king’s chair in a thinkers position.

This offer will make 50 copies of this card into existence, from which one will be given to you, and the rest are sold as collectibles in-game. So unfortunately you won’t be able to sell these 50 cards yourself, but, the one that you get will be the Unique card, making it anyway most valuable from the batch.

In addition, if you like to make this card into a physical copy, that should be doable for about 20 Euros, in the future I suppose.

However, do realize that when you make this card into a physical copy, Card holds the PrivateKey to own the NFT, so by giving this card away, you in practice also give rights to its virtual copy along with it.

Where exactly to grab this offer, was not told. Currently it seems to work by contacting Pascal in discord, but who knows, perhaps it will be an automated feature in CryptoMages itself when it comes out, about a week-two later if the latest announcements about it are to be believed.

Dashboard Manual released

Roughly two weeks ago Pascal said in the Telos Telegram group that he would pay 100k Telos for someone who makes a manual with pictures for Dashboard.

With Telos signs in my eyes, I rushed to work on it being happy that most Telos people only use Discord and not Telegram, hence it being unlikely for me to have any competition for that 100k Telos.

Last Friday I finally got it finished and Pascal uploaded it to Github adding it to the 3.08 version of Dashboard.

There are probably some errors still, so if you find any, you could go to Discord and tell about them in the dashboard-transcendence channel so those can be corrected for the manual.

A link to a Github from where you can look it for yourself, and also in the future look for newer versions of Dashboard Manual if they get released:

New Bitcoin Subsidium (XBTX) mining profitability calculator

Last Friday, discord username Taperj from xbtx.collective-b.org pool posted a link to XBTX Mining Profitability Calculator that he had himself coded for everyone to use:

This is a very handy tool for everyone thinking of mining XBTX.

Just put all the details there and you can instantly see if you are on the winning or losing side, and how much, or you can also use this to speculate in a way that if the price of XBTX or BTC is this, then how much would I gain if I will mine for a year.

Nice touches are that Network Hashrate, XBTX Price, and BTC price are updated automatically. Only thing missing from this is that it doesn’t give an option to see the profit result in Telos, as in what if you sell XBTX against Telos instead of some inferior coin like Bitcoin.

Even if you are not concretely interested in Mining yourself, you could still use this to check for example the profits of Peertoros XBTX Mining Lifetime packages. However, before you get overly excited, notice that the calculator and Peertoro use different measurement units. Mining calculator uses H/s (Hash per second) while Peertoro uses H/m (Hash per minute), this means that to convert H/m into H/s, you need to divide the H/m number by 60. Therefore for example the lowest powered lifetime package of 6200 H/m, becomes roughly 103 H/s.
