Tangem Notes coming for Telos and Subsidium

Dev had a scheduled call with Tangem today, and in this call they agreed upon making Tangem Notes for both Telos and Subsidium.

Tangem Note is an interesting little product with possibility for some specific useful uses.

Tangem Note is a card with a chip that you can use to store your Cryptocurrencies, in this case, Telos or Subsidium. Naturally, you can also transfer these funds between cards or other things by using your phone.

All in all, if you think these as gift cards upon which you can load more funds, you are somewhat close to what it is. Basically idea is to work as a form of cash for cryptocurrencies that instead of having a lot of cash in your wallet, now you will just be holding Tangem Note in your wallet, and whenever you need to pay, you give this Tangem Note to cashier and he reduces required amount of funds as he would from a gift card.

Naturally, if you know you have exactly for example 20 Euros worth of Telos in this card, you could instead of transferring the funds, simply give the card to pay your 20 Euros worth of stuff.

This also brings the good and the bad thing about the Tangem note. While it is very handy as a crypto replacement for cash, it also suffers the same problem as cash as since anyone can use it, it also means that if someone steals it, he can then use those funds as they would be his, for which reason it is not recommended to keep too much money in your tangem note at any time, just like you wouldn’t keep too much cash in your wallet either as there is always a risk someone robs you.

However, same as cash, your damage is reduced only to what you have in your Tangem Note, since each Tangem Note comes with a unique Private Key, and this private key is put there already at manufacturing process to it in such a way that no one can ever copy or change it. Therefore, for example, a risk of someone cloning your card is not possible.

In addition to being a replacement for cash, Tangem Note can be used for other things too, like you could use it for ID purposes for example in some big event by adding some info about each person. This could work as a cheap way for ID proof for personnel in some big event as an example.

It is holding blockchain stuff inside it after all, so basically anything that is possible with a blockchain is possible to add to this card. You could have even in previous rumors article mentioned Telos third coin having access to a video, then you scan the card with your phone and can play the video, making it basically possible to sell digital videos by selling these Tangem Notes.

Anyway, at this point main usage for a regular user is that it will work as a good way to introduce people to Telos by having a chance of giving Telos gift cards, or you could even sell telos by putting 10 000 Telos to each card and then sell them to people against Euros. Or you could put to one of the cards 1 Million Telos and take it to your bank for safekeeping and one day either you or people who inherit you could open the bank vault, take the note, and become Telos Millionaire without worrying anything about Passwords, etc.

Basically the only downside to this note is that unfortunately it doesn’t do staking. So whatever you put there, will stay exactly that and not become more like with piggybank they would.

This kind of Card is now coming for Telos and Subsidium, based upon announcement, still during this year.

keep following TELOSNEWS.COM and there be a news item when this happens.

Bluephone available for Preordering

Interestingly, we saw today an announcement from YourBrainOnBlockchain that Developer Edition of Bluephone is now available for pre-order.

YourBrainOnBlockchain itself is something TELOSNEWS.COM might dig out further and introduce to you one day, but for now, know that YourBrainOnBlockChain is supposed to be a centralised place to buy all things Telos, and lately it seems there been a lot of building happening like TELOSNEWS.COM news items have been released on YourBrainOnBlockChain-blog as well.

Since this is the first time an announcement was made by them, and of all things it was about bluephone, it might mean something.

Bluephone, as the name suggests, is a Mobile phone. Now why on earth do we need another one of those? That is because neither Google play store nor Apple store lets you release any master node running software.
Since mobiles are usually 24 hours a day turned on and connected to the internet, they would be a quite working solution for running a master node.

Now how to solve this problem?

By releasing your own mobile with Aeros as its operating system. No google play store nor apple store restrictions and people can finally get to run their nodes on the go and earn money to buy the next model when it comes out. So in the best case you buy one phone and keep buying all your phones in future with profits, get your phone bills paid and even earn some extra on top of that. Now talk of a good deal in here!

Current pre order pricing has two different prices.

699 Euros from YourBrainOnBlockChain, or 238 000 Telos from Bluephone.biz

With current Telos price that is around 800-900 Euros, so YourBrainOnBlockChains offer is pretty good, especially when taking into consideration that they have even price guarantee – If final price be lower, the overpayment will be returned, if higher, then you can choose to cancel your order or send the missing amount.

As of now, hardware specifications, and I suppose final price, is not known, since it havent been decided yet, there however should be couple of different options to choose from available in the end.

If the price sounds high, keep in mind that this price should include 100 000 Telos node in it, which alone is worth 400 Euros in the current market price.

All in phone, including nodes, however, might still change before the final release.

kiva.org bounty – Join Kiva Telos team to earn some Telos

“Give a man a fish, and he be hungry tomorrow – Teach him to fish, and he is never hungry again”

This is basically the principle upon which Kiva operates.

Some peoples fathers and forefathers choices didn’t bring the same amount of fruit out as some others, especially western fathers, choices did.

Is it fair? that depends upon your view. The only way to be equal is to leave all the babies to the hospital’s floor right after they are born and let them survive themselves as they can (and that still doesn’t rule out the possibility that the hospital floor of some babies happen to disappear due to earthquake, making it still unfair to those ones). If this is not the choice we decide to make, then some will have better and more capable parents than others, and that is the reality.

However, that doesn’t mean that we who happened to be born to a more successful line of fathers shouldn’t give a damn about those who didn’t.

There has been a lot of good criticism in giving direct help to people since that is like giving the before mentioned fish, making them both hungry tomorrow, and perhaps even helpless to find anything else than expecting to get another fish from us.

Kiva, however, operates with a different principle.

In Kiva, you don’t even donate money to people, but you are actually giving them a loan.

And the principle of this loan is that this loan is a life-changing loan to them, making it possible to make their dream of earning their own living come true.

While westerns dreams might be pretty expensive and vain, like dreaming a world round trip, many peoples dream is simply to have a relatively cheap tool for us to make up a living. A tool of 25 USD might be out of reach for many people, especially for the bankless people who might make even less than 1 USD a day, and this price of couple of hamburgers left uneaten by us can make these peoples dream of making their own living a true.

Not only does it make them be able to make a living, but also feed their families, and sometimes even resulting in businesses that will bring living to even more people than just themselves.

On top of that, since we are talking of a loan here, this one 25 USD will not just change a life of one man, but when he is able to pay it back you can use that same 25 USD to loan for the next unbanked poor man.

When taking into account the cumulative effect of some of these growing into businesses supporting more than just one man, by loaning this same sum again and again after getting it back, you might well be making even 1000 people be able to make it possible to earn their living during your lifetime, with just 25 USD.

To support this idea, there is now a new TELOS bounty.

Kiva has a TELOS team. Join this Telos Team, and you will get 50 TELOS.

Even better, Lend to one of the Kiva credit projects and choose to do this as a TELOS team member, and you will get 1000 TELOS.

So now you don’t need to loan 25 USD anymore, but less, since you are getting 1050 TELOS back right after you loan.

This bounty has a total amount of one million Telos to be claimed and can be claimed only once per person.

As an additional incentive, part of Devs idea is that if TELOS team can have enough people there, even KIVA will notice this and then when Dev contacts KIVA to introduce them to the benefits that Telos can offer to bankless world (as example fight against hyperinflation), they will be much more willing to hear as they see TELOS has already done something to them.

Now go and make your life make a difference!

Rumors: Third coin for Transcendence, Bluephone price drop, Vector codec for Videos

Quite a lot of talk have been happening on background that has not been news item worthy, mainly because they have not been official, yet something TELOSNEWS.COM readers will probably be interested anyway, hence this Rumors article. Nothing you read here is official unless otherwise stated, and these might, or might not happen. As of now, they are just rumors.

It is official that Bluephone is coming, however, as they have not been available to buy yet and exact details have been missing, TELOSNEWS.COM have therefore refrained from making a news item about it.

Bluephone, in short, is going to be a mobile phone. Okay, so do we need yet another mobile phone? Well, both Android and Applestore prohibit releasing master node running things. As Dev happens to have his own operating system Aeros, he is now in a position to make a phone which will be running a master node on the background. Mobile phones nowadays are anyway on and connected to the internet, usually 24 hours a day, so why not use it to run a masternode and let the mobile pay its price back and make even profit to have money to buy the next one.

Bluephone was originally supposed to be higher priced since the first run was going to be sort of a test run to those interested until the real consumer-run would come at some point in future which would be cheaper.

However, since HuobiGlobal Exchange has now talked of a plan to make a similar idea phone as Bluephone, Dev has revised his plan and is now planning to at least match Huobiglobals price.

Will this new pricing affect the original plan of including a 100k Telos node with each phone, that remains to be seen.

And how tight a fight are we going to get here, remains to be seen too. However, so far Dev has been commenting that what Huobiglobal have released details about their phone don’t yet match that of Bluephones, so at least currently we seem to be ahead of the game.

Yesterday Dev went on to meet with Transcendence Associates, to be more specific, board member of the coming exchange and YourBrainOnBlockChain partner.

Lots of things were discussed, among these even of a third coin for Transcendence Network.

The idea behind this third coin is very practical. HINT has released an AML4.0 standard, and as it happens to be, Dev already has talked about his VAN-player in 2015 (item 5), which has a codec that in his opinion is the best match for AML4.0 standard currently existing.

VAN can play Vector ANimation, which means that it can save for example Videos in Vector format making it take less space than current video streaming systems and it is completely lossless format in addition meaning that you can have an unlimited amount of resolution and zoom without it becoming a pixel mess.

This third coins main point seems to be in having blockchain for these videos. Basically Dev said coin would be similar to Civic, but more sophisticated, especially on video storage part.

Coins fundamentals would be different from the previous two (that be Telos and Subsidium). This time “mining” wouldnt be open, but you could buy nodes (perhaps through peertoro?) and earn revenue shares. There would also not be any fixed rewards amount.

Dev is planning to ask for EU fund for developing this third coin as it is the closest thing to AML4.0 standard currently, so I guess depending upon how goes with the EU funding, will also depend upon how fast we will hear more about this third coin possibility.

In addition to meeting with Transcendence Associates, they also made a call to Dach coin, and there was talk about a merge. I guess we might hear about this in the near future more, supposing it does happen. Part of the talk was about what will happen to DachExchange in case of a merge, whether it stays or not, and for how long.

While mainly the discussion was of a less concrete in nature about Bitdorado Exchange and other things, there was however one concrete decision too, which was to release a Greenbox. What this is, and what does it do, your guess is as good as mine. However, a hint is that Dev mentioned about CO2 certificate. So that plus the name, it probably has something to do with the environment.

There was also talk about using Bounties to encourage people to join Telos kiva.org team.

Kiva is an organization where you can loan people as little money as just 25 USD, and it will make a big difference to their life in making them be able to put up a business to earn their living, and in best case even get a growing business that will give living to more than just the one you originally loaned the money to. Not only is this very small money for most us, but you are even likely getting it back, in which case you can use it to change another one’s life again.

Short mention was that there was talk about marketing/fairs, nothing concrete mentioned about them but I guess we can expect more Gamescom kind of things to happen, which resulted in nice amount of things that you can read about in my previous rumors article regarding Gamescom.

And last was also a talk about new whitepapers. Not that I am personally that interested in them, but if you been waiting for updated ones, then perhaps they are coming too. Anyway, quite many seem to have it as a criterion that if no whitepaper, they don’t even dig any further, so perhaps it is good to have updated ones.

Premium Buzz Backer Telos article for August

Once a month masternode.buzz makes an article about progress in Transcendence project. This is because Transcendence is Premium Buzz Backer, and they make a monthly update on each backer. Quality of these articles vary, but it is always nice to read about Telos anyway.

This time, in September, they release the August update which mainly tells about stuff that happened in July. Which shows why you should keep reading TELOSNEWS.COM to keep you up to date on things sooner than month-two after.

In this months article, it mentions about Piggybank2.0, Telos update to 2.0, partnership with Crypto Masters Club, and also gives a brief mention about Indiego Appstore and Cryptomages.

Master node ROI adds Telos Tiered nodes

It seems Telos is gaining some popularity among Master Node statistics services, for in a very short time we are getting yet another Master Node statistics service update, this time Master Node ROI, or in short, Mn ROI, have updated their Telos statistics to include all Tiers of nodes.

While it might not be otherwise adding much that isn’t already available from other master node services except for another set of coins with Telos, it does, however, have a mobile application for Android devices.

So now you have a chance to walk around with your (android) phone and keep showing off to random people at street Telos master node statistics.

It is not perfect, some tiers showing too high a ROI, while others too low, but it will probably get fixed in time when it gets more synced with the network first.

Buy listing to Masternodestats, Peertoro, and Bluebox cross-promotion offer

There is now a cross-promotion offer available through Masternodestats.

If you buy a listing to Masternodestats with 1 Million Telos, then by paying an additional amount of 10 new coins nodes worth of new coins, you will, in addition, get a listing to both Peertoro and Bluebox .

When considering that a normal price to get yourself listed to Peertoro and Bluebox is 3 000 Euros (or 1 500 Euros worth of Telos), then this is not a bad deal at all and is pretty nice discount especially for new coins which still have a cheap node cost usually.

However, if you don’t wish to pay to get your coin listed to masternodestats, you can still submit your coin for voting as usual, but then you will miss the cross-promotion offer.

Crypto Masters article “Telos 2.0: A Centralized Vision For Decentralized Innovation” released

Looks like today is promising to become a good day for those looking to read articles about Telos, for we already have one article to read today and as it is Monday, we expect Lucky Seven to release his usual Monday article at a later point too.

Crypto Masters has released their article titled “Telos 2.0: A Centralized Vision For Decentralized Innovation” which tells quite a lot of things about Telos, mentioning Aeguana, Bluebox, etc. and also telling about Telos 2.0 changes, like the Tiered model.

Now you can go and read the whole article, which is pretty long actually, and after you are done reading, perhaps come back to check if Lucky Seven has already released his Monday article, for TELOSNEWS.COM will, of course, tell you about that too when it happens.

New use case: Masternodes.biz now accepts Telos as a payment to list new coins.

The previous news item in Telosnews.com was about masternodes.biz adding Telos coin to the followed coins.

It appears that wasn’t all they planned to do with Telos, but just today they announced that it is now possible to pay with Telos to add new coins to masternodes.biz list of coins to have statistics of. And also, you can buy master node hosting from Masternodes.biz platform for 0.88 USD equivalent amount of Telos a month per node.

Everything looks good when there’s an image of Telos included.
